Shoot me you address so I can send you the $ I still owe you and pay my dues. Best wish'e to all, happy new year and all that. I can't wait untill April, got to get some more of that great Newville poison ivy!

Your idea makes a lot of sense, but to comply with our NH
Non-profit Corporate Status, we need an actual meeting. I failed to conduct
this open meeting several years ago and I fudged the State's renewal form (which
I have no desire to do again) when I resubmitted. That was all totally my fault
in not planning that meeting.
Another reason is that many members, in
spite of their computers, have the opportunity to participate in the discussions
verbally without the constraints of the keyboard. This meeting has been a good
social time as we do not have a Christmas party (like many groups) in a site
that has great historical significance.
Best,
Paul

Just an idea why can't we have a conference meting on the
internet. Everyone would be able to attend as we all have computers. No one
would have to travel. Just an idea.

Guys,
I need to
solidify a date for the 2010 Annual Meeting for our Canadian Groups. Right now,
we have 12/26 and 1/2 as possible dates registered with the National Park at the
Springfield Armory anytime during the day (my preference would be from Noon to
4). The 9th of January would be tough because of the Winter Neuville event and
that only leaves us with 1/16 and 1/23 (which are not confirm with the NPS).
IN SHORT !! Let us know what is best for you as the Park Service
needs a good amount of lead time for me to do all of the paperwork. If I don't
get a solid reply, I will default to the 1/2 date.
I really don't
like to be a pest, but this meeting is necessary for
legal/organizationa//wbr>l/corporate reasons. This is where we
set dues, pick officers, set the calendar, etc. I also plan on inviting the
members that do only WW II as they are a part of the larger unit.

My vote is for January 2nd, the 26 Dec. is too close to Christmas for me to be able to commit to.
