--I've seen them and found a few I could use. The classical album sets are
mostly in decent condition (little that I didn't already have) and many of them
came from the long-defunct Niagara Falls radio station WHLD. The bulk of the
collection is pop and jazz 78s.

Hi All- my latest auction of 78rpm records, V Disks, and 16" transcriptions is
now available. It contains more than 1600 items including jazz, dance band,
personalities and pop music mostly of the 1920s and 1930s. There is also a
section WW2 era V Disks, and a large section of 16" transcriptions.
   Some great stuff this time around including a nice bunch of clean OKeh's and
other good jazz material, 1929 shellac pressings of radio shows by Art Kassel
and Ted Fio Rito, 1934 shellac pressings of transcribed material by San
Francisco based bands,  a shellac test pressing of a 1928 Paul Whiteman unissued
take with Bix Beiderbecke in the band, plus lots of top dance band material-
Victor 24000's, Columbia blue wax, etc.
   It is available by several methods..

A collector is looking for the Mahler 4th with Hidemaro Konoye and the New
Symphony Orchestra of Tokio (sic) on Parlophone E 10009/14. Not the horrible CD
transfer on Denon but an original, or even one disc from it, and he's offering
decent money..if any library wants to part with it, compensation would be

This week we have over 250 records listed on eBay.

A royal blue pressing of Scharer's delightful version of the Scherzo from
Litolff's Piano Concerto leads a small group of 10" piano 78s.

There is a page of 7" jazz EPs, a bunch of Beatles, a bunch of less usually
found classical LPs, some oddball LPs, a few still sealed, etc.  Many are "buy
it now."

The records I consign weekly (most weeks, anyway) to Bill Giller can be found
