This group is intended for users with HIGH SPEED connections or who are prepared for some LONG downloads. It is intended as an IMAGE based group and these images can be big.

The aim of the group is to complement the specialist aviation groups. Postings to this group would typically be detail "Walk Arounds" of a particular type of aircraft.

Single detail photos of cockpits, ejector Seats, missiles or armaments, for example, would also be suitable.

As Yahoo no longer archive attachments there is little point in using 'digest mode' or 'no emails' as the text in most messages is minimal

Message Size - The current Yahoo limit is that the message and attachments cannot exceed one Megabyte in total. This translates to a total attachment size of about 760kb.

Please try to NEVER noticeably exceed sending 5mb of messages (3.8mb of attachments) in any 24 hour period – This is to prevent overloading the typical ISP 10mb inbox.

File Uploads - Yahoo limits the maximum size file that can be uploaded to the file area to 5120kb. If you put a large file in this area please remove it after about two weeks to conserve the limited space.

Constructive Criticism - the best way to improve the quality of poor posting techniques is to set a good example in your own postings. If you are not posting and must put it in words PLEASE be VERY polite and careful how you phrase the comment. Without posters we have nothing!
