AFC Bears is a social group in San Diego, California that was started in June of 2001 as a way of bringing masculine, furry men (and their friends) together for a variety of social activities. The emphisis of this group will always be on having a good time. There are no officers, no dues, and the only thing you have to do to join is "Show Up, Take Part, and Have Fun".

Activities include skydiving, whitewater rafting, kayaking, swimming with the sharks, concerts, plays, country western dancing, bingo,camping, hiking, paintball, beach parties, bonfires, bike rides, movie night, dinner night, bbqs, pool parties, rugby, racquetball, tennis, bowling, softball, gym night, yoga, meditation, Padres gamaes, Charger games, first aid training and Habitat for Humanity, just to name a few.
