This group is for members and supporters of the Sydney Committee of the Australia-Venezuela Solidarity Network to help organise and build solidarity with the first revolution of the 21st Century.
The AVSN was formed at the Second National Australian Conference in Solidarity with Latin America in 2004. The Network is a combination of sponsoring organisations and local organising committees doing solidarity work with the revolutionary bolivarian process now underway in Venezuela.
The AVSN organises solidarity brigades to Venezuela, as well as organising film screenings, protests, educationals, public meetings and tours of Veneuelan revolutionaries.
