The Acadiana Shambhala Meditation Group no longer functions as a group. We do, however, post items and programs of interest from our sister sanghas in Texas that may be of interest to you.

We are part of the larger mandala of Shambhala International, an international network of meditation groups, centers, and retreat centers founded in the 1970s by Tibetan monk Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche and now headed by his son, Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche.
