The Amputee Organization of America is a non-profit organization with the mission to provide various support to amputees across the nation.

It was founded in late 2003 by Derek E. McDonald of Houston, Texas whom has been an amputee since 1991. Our mission is to provide amputees and their families with various support ranging from moral support to medical supplies and regional community activities.

Our organization is still in its infancy and is financed and managed by volunteers 100%. Upon approval of our pending application for 501(c)3 status, we will be eligible for government funding and grants, thus allowing us the ability to grow exponentially.

Currently, we are seeking members to join our organization to further our goodwill cause to help amputees in America. Membership is free, and all amputees are eligible for consideration of benefits from the organization.
