What If is a paperback and magazine swap Group for fiction lovers. Dealers are welcome, but please limit your posts. There are already Groups for romance traders, so this Group will be restricted to SF, mystery, adventure, and westerns. No nonfiction or romance. With paperbacks now priced at $7 to $12.00 and higher, and hardbacks from twenty to forty bucks, we can no longer afford to buy new books. I read five to ten books a month and rely on trades with other readers. This Group is for those in a similar situation as me. If you have a trade list you would like to share, post it in the Files. If you are looking for anything special tell the Group, maybe someone has it. If you have a bookstore, and there is a contact url, post it in the Links. If you have an item someone is looking for, but only wish to sell it, I ask that your prices be reasonable. That’s why we’re looking for swaps, to keep from paying high prices for a book. To keep this Group free of spammers and unwelcome visitors, I must approve all Members. Collectors are also welcome, but we would prefer you swap related items for your wants. I read SF, and prefer short stories in magazines like F&SF, Analog, Asimov, Galaxy, Fantastic, Amazing, etc. Occasionally, I read mystery and adventure.
