This webgroup is for ASA / INSCOM veterans of the OPS Battalions who served at Field Station Augsburg on Gablingen Kaserne. This group was started as a way to share stories & photos, keep in touch, and find old friends. The group spans 1970 to 1993. There's over 11,000 photos of people, Augsburg bases, Bavaria and past 2nd OPS reunions. Over 59,000 messages have been swapped between the 1000+ Augsburg 1st, 2nd, and 3rd OPS veterans who reconnected since the group started in Feb 2005.

The 8th annual reunion will be in Memphis over Columbus Day weekend (Oct 10-15) - hosted by Terry Lawrence. Over 60 mini-reunions have occurred between the annual events.

We seek former veterans of the OPS BN's. To join, you must have worked at Gablingen Kaserne and had an ASA/INSCOM MOS (05K, 05H, 98B, 98C, 98G, 05D, ...) for any of the OPS BN's based at Field Station Augsburg.
