I'm trying to start up a local group that will just try to recapture the original community spirit of the Bear Movement.
I hope to use this as a way of communicating to a group of friends about social events, little get togethers, local happenings, and topics of interest to us as a group.
I'm open to anyone who considers themselves a bear, or just a friend of bears in general. The topics will usually pertain to gay men and activities, so keep that in mind. This will NOT be a dirty picture site or hook up site, that's all there is to it.
I knew of several gay mens social groups in this area, and just watched them fade away, due to lack of interest, apathetic leadership, or simple drama amongst the members. I hope that none of that happens here.
