Our community is individually owned and operated and in no way is connected to any other group or list.
It is a place for community members to come together and help each other out
in any way that we can to strive for a better life in these hard times of today.
It is not a place to put referral links, that is spam and not allowed and will not now or ever be posted on this site.
We do not have a ton of rules but what we do have we strictly enforce and expect you to show the courtesy of abiding by them.
If you are looking to rehome a pet for example you may post that but in no way charge. The pet must be free totally, rehoming fees and such will not be tolerated. Should the pet come with for example a cage you may request a modest fee for the cage only.
You are allowed to sell items if they are at tag sale prices and if you are trying to raise money to pay a bill for example but if you are posting away to make money on a daily basis we then consider it a business and it will not be accepted.
There are other lists where you can sell anything you want as often as you want so if that is your intent then we suggest you join one of the many other groups that are out there for that purpose only.
We are looking to give away things, get things we need, do some swapping and provide useful info and tips.
We do not allow postings such as first come first served. That is unfair to many to start out to get an item only to find it has been taken.
We understand that many times a person needs to get rid of something right away. May I suggest sitting it out with a free sign on it. That has always worked for me and that way the person was driving by anyway so is not going out of their way.
Many people do not have transportation and if that is the case please state that and be willing to give a little offering for the other persons gas if they are going out of their way to deliver or make arrangements with some one you know to pick up for you.
