Hello:

I believe we have some family research interests in common. In particular,
I would like to learn more about the parish of Marstrand, Göteborg och
Bohus, Sweden.

My 8th great-grandparents:

Fredrik Nilsson BAGGE (1646-1713) and Elizabeth Larsdotter WANDELIN
(1650-1731) were married on November 30, 1670 in Marstrand, Göteborg och
Bohus, Sweden, and had 9 children.

Fredrik and Elizabeth's son
Samuel Fredriksson BAGGE (1686-1763) Marstrand - was my 7th great-grandfather.
married Catharina Olofsdotter STRÖM (1694-1763)

Samuel and Catharina's daughter:
Catharina BAGGE (1718-1782) Marstrand - was my 6th great-grandmother.
married Lars KAMP (????-1772)

Lars and Catharina's daughter:
Elizabeth KAMP (1740-????) Marstrand - was my 5th great-grandmother.
married Eric MANNERSTEDT (????-????)

Eric and Elizabeth's daughter:
Charlotta Sophia MANNERSTEDT (1761-????) Marstrand - was my 4th
great-grandmother.
married Olof von REIS (1771-????)

Olof and Elizabeth's son:
Eric Lorentz REIS (1804-1864) Marstrand - was my 3rd great-grandfather.
married Helena Christina ÅKERLUND (1813-????) Almunge, Uppsala län.

Eric and Helena's daughter:
Carolina Helena Elizabeth REIS (1840-1898) Sollentuna, Stockholm län - was
my 2nd great-grandmother.
married Adolf Fredrik LINDQVIST (1841-1907) Brunneby, Östergötland
län.

Adolf and Carolina's daughter:
Aqvilina Matilda Elizabet LINDQVIST (1864-1950) Katarina, Stockholm stad -
was my great-grandmother.
married Johannes Largus Teodor PALMQVIST (1863-1938)
Martebo, Gotland län

(Johannes and Aqvilina, with three children, emigrated from Sweden to
Canada. They departed on 15 May 1903 from Göteborg, Sweden, to Hull,
England, aboard the North Sea steamer "SS Ariosto" of the Wilson Line, then
travelled by train to Liverpool. From Liverpool, they boarded the
trans-Atlantic steamer "SS Lake Champlain", arriving in Quebec, Canada, on
31 May 1903. They established their family in Montreal and stayed active
in the Swedish Club).

Johannes and Aqvilina's son:
Bernhard Teodor Mathias PALMQUIST (1892-1959) Västerås, Västmanland - was
my grandfather.
married Amy CHALLINOR (1897-1971)
Everton, Liverpool, Lancashire, England

Ben and Amy's daughter:
Ruby Warriner PALMQUIST (living)
married George Robert WHITING (1903-1971)
Willesden, Hendon District, Middlesex, England.

George and Ruby's son:
Bernard Henry (Ben) WHITING (this is me)
married Nancy Anne MATHESON
