I got too busy and coordinating this group was taking up more time than I expected, so it's on hold for a while. But if you're interested, sign up or check back here. I do hope to get it going again when I can put some more time into it again.

general group info:
SECOND SATURDAY of the month (when held).

This started in a coffee shop which has since closed, so things have been changing a bit now but the concept has remained the same: bring whatever books you want to get rid of and see if anyone's got anything you're interested in. Very casual. Come every month or come once in a while. Anyone is welcome and you don't have to sign up here.

I send out reminders twice a month: a couple of weeks before the meeting and then a few days before. These are sent "special notice" and I try to send only those messages special notice, but there might be a few more emails here and there now, e.g. whenever I establish next meeting place.

Don't be surprised if you don't see much activity here. This group was set up mainly for reminder notices and then eventually I re-set it so members could post. The group is also just still getting started and posting is** allowed only so people can get in touch with each other if they want about this or other events: this is not an online book discussion. You can see the Posting Guidelines for more about that. Guidelines are in the "Files" - see list on left.

** WHILE ON HIATUS: Posting has been restricted again due to a spam email that was sent through here. I am militantly anti-spam and don't want any crap coming through here: So you can sign up without fear of spam. When we get going again I'll try opening posting to members again, but you'll get an email from me when I do that.
