British_Classics is a reading group that concentrates on classic literature, mainly novels of the British Isles,
including England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Isle of Man, etc.
We'll read and discuss one book per month to be chosen through nominations and polls.
If you love reading the classics, this is the group for you.
Some of the authors we'll read may include Jane Austen, Anne Bronte, Charlotte Bronte, Emily Bronte, Wilkie Collins, Charles Dickens, Arthur Conan Doyle, George Eliot, Elizabeth Gaskell, Oliver Goldsmith, Thomas Hardy, James Hogg, Joseph Sheridan Lefanu, Sir Walter Scott, George Bernard Shaw, Mary Shelley, Robert Lewis Stevenson, Bram Stoker, Jonathan Swift, Oscar Wilde and many others.
