Here is a thought..... how many of you would want to just buy a whole new spindle, complete with ER collet end ? I think ER-16 goes up to 3/8". I would work up...

I think for about $200, you can have someone remove the spindle, add the ER collet holder, and put it back together. for another $50 you can get a decent set...
