CNLines-CNet is a moderated, electronic mailing list service open to the general public and brought to you by the CN Lines Special Interest Group (CN Lines SIG). Subscription to this mailing list is free and open to all.
CNR has transformed from a National carrier to a large international Railroad. Discussion on CNLines-CNet is limited to the Canadian and American operations of the CN Family of railways only - as they were, as they are and as they are modeled. Discussion of other railways as they relate directly to CN is okay but discussing California railroading with no connection to the CN is not.
Additional information and guidelines to be followed:

A) All new members will be automatically placed on moderated status. Once a new member has posted a reasonable topic/reply, the moderated status will be lifted.
B) Commercial advertising is NOT acceptable on CNLines-CNet however, one-time announcements on CN Related Products are (Please See Advertising Guidelines)
C) Ads for "CN related" private sales are welcome (Please see Private Sales Guidelines)
D) Members are reminded that flaming, profanity, personal attacks and bigotry of both list members and non-list members (including companies and organizations) WILL NOT BE TOLERATED on CNLines-CNet.
E) Postings and distribution of virus warnings (including hoaxes), Chain letters and emails about helping a small dying child (and the like) are NOT PERMITTED under any circumstance.
F) Members are reminded the any attachments that are sent to the list will be automatically stripped from the email before going out to members.
G) Discussion, debate, and disagreement are fine as long as the participants treat each other with basic respect and courtesy, and as long as subscribers (regardless of their skills or achievements) continue to feel welcome on this list.
