Description

Welcome to Christian Science Issues!

Not suitable as an introductory site to the topic of CS except to do specific topical research. The founder of this site, an American citizen, exercising his rights of free speech under the US Constititon and its Bill of Rights, supports the open and candid discussion of topics related to Christian Science by both Christian Scientists and non-Scientists, as well. Sometimes the topics are quite controversial. Once again, while all who love Christian Science and its Discover and Founder, Mary Baker Eddy, are welcome, please see the Links section on the left for other sites where a newcomer to Christian Science might feel more comfortable. This is an independent discussion group and is not supported by nor directly affiliated with The First Church of Christ, Scientist, Boston, MA, USA. While some members of this group are not members of that Church and others are so-called independents, the founder of the group is NOT "anti-Boston," nor "anti-Christian Science" nor "anti- Christian Science Board of Directors" and remains a member of both The First Church of Christ, Scientist and a local branch church. This is NOT the so-called "Independent Christian Scientists" Yahoo Group. For other topically-organized discussions, check out such sites as http://groups.msn.com/ChristianSciencePublic or http://www.csenews.com - Check out http://www.endtime.org for another independent source of info on CS that a group of Denver USA folks feel to be "CS as taught by Mrs. Eddy in her Boston College" and also an historical review of a highly controversial (but long-held) view of Mrs. Eddy's Place in Biblical Prophesy. Those interested in CS Church reform are welcome to check out the Yahoo group, http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CSChurchReform

Re: Watchkeepers.org
Indeed there are many of those 'perscriptions,' Eric. But remember that they are not necessarily meant for every Christian Scientist that ever walks the earth.

LET'S TRY THIS AGAIN: http://tinyurl.com/6n4w8e (I verified that it works before posting. Good luck. The one above works -- the one below is junk.) ~eric.

Re: Watchkeepers.org
Mary Baker G. Eddy is the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science. The lifelong sacrifice she made on our collective behalf is staggering and profound.
