WELCOME! Anybody that served in the Chu Lai AO, will have memories they can share. After 30 plus years, lets see what kind of picture we can put together. It doesn't matter what unit you were with, if you have memories of Chu Lai, please post and share them with us. From the landing on the beaches until stand down, Chu Lai was a temporary home for thousands of us. This support base, on the shores of the South China Sea, became the heart of the Americal Division, a major US military force in the northern areas of South Vietnam during the war years.
