This is a reading and discussion group for classic Science Fiction and Fantasy literature, that focuses on short stories and short fiction.

We cover the beginnings of these two genres in the 1800's, through the great pulp magazine eras of SF and Fantasy of the 1920's to 1940's, through the modern and New Wave eras of Science Fiction of the 1950's to 1970's, and into the 1980's. Stories are both well-known and not, by authors both well-known and not.

Each month we read roughly two stories selected by our members. (Depending on the story length and how the discussion goes, this may vary.) Being "short fiction", they can range in size from short stories to novellas.

All the stories are available online, so that everyone can have access to them. Of course, you can also find these in books as well.
