This group is for anyone who wants to post something to offer for free or post a request for something they might need. This group is not for selling, trading, bartering or buying. This group if for free stuff only. As a member of the group, feel free to post anything with the exception of adult oriented material and firearms as they could make the group manager liable and cause the group to be shut down or worse. This group is created for Clinton, MS because Yahoo removed the Clinton Freecycle Group and the Freecycle Group Managers decided that Clinton didn’t need a Freecycle Group as there were too many in the Jackson area already. Note: Jackson, MS doesn’t have a Freecycle Group. Some rules that we ask that you follow. Only post an item once, posting it over and over becomes a nuisance. If you post an item and it is taken, post a message that it has been taken. If you reply and ask for something and make an offer to pick the item up, please do so on time as the person offering the item may need the space. DO NOT post to sell an item. DO NOT post to buy an item. DO NOT post to swap-trade an item. Once you identify an item you would like to offer to take, email the person making the offer directly, this reduces unnecessary email traffic. No flame wars, no spamming. Members may post pictures of their items in the Photos folder, after it is taken, please remove it from the folder. The chat room is enabled for members.
