Thanks a lot Clif. I really appreciate that. LOTS of work, and some clean up
to do, but SO fun to track down those stories. For example, this little Cri
Cri. I've known of it for years, and am delighted to research and share stories
like these. In this case a group member did a great job writing something up.

Please share the link with anyone you think may be interested. Some site traffic
will help keep me going.

And please share flying and building stories on the group. I know LOTS of
people are interested in this little plane.

Thanks again group!

Bryan

Thanks! It's a lot of work, but fun work!

I havent heard. I am in Seattle, and that happened just a half hour or so from
my house. I'll try to track him down some time.

Got a story. Thanks!

Hello Julio:  Are you asking for someone to repair a damaged plane you already have? If so I can do structural and sheet metal repairs. I have extensive experience in homebuilts, as well as certified a/c. plus 20 plus years of military aircraft maintenance. However you would have to arrange shipping your machine to and from Canada and that could be expensive. They seem to be hard to come buy if you are looking to purchase a completed one.

Hey, It is ok to have just one engine. however the trade off is you have to have a reduction
drive for your prop and taller gears to clear the ground. Reduction drive and taller gears do add friction and weight. There are pictures of single engine cri cri out there. About the FAA, work with them, the system is ridgit, but these are people that talk, walk and think. One FAA rep may not think the same as other and the same for the FAA offices. I have been told, that one cannot put auto engine conversion on certified airframes, but look: there are enough of cessnas 172/152 with auto conversion and "experiment" sticker on the sides. member of this group could give you opions, but the final say will lie with an FAA inspector that "you  work with". One example of things the FAA have to deal with is Cessna 337 skymaster. With one engine in the front and one in the back, does one still need the conventional twin training and endorsement?

Why does the Cri-Cri need to have two props if you have only one engine?  It is my understanding that the original was designed with the engines because there were no 25 HP engines available so he used two 12 HP.

A single engine in the nose would be much simpler.

Steve,

Good to hear from you.  Unfortunately, I have moved to Magalia in N. CA and won't be through RC much again.

I have toyed with the idea of a Cri-Cri for some time.  I thought I had a line on a set of plans on this BB, but haven't heard much lately from the source.

The reason I had been looking at a single engine version was to get it under the Sport Aircraft rules.  Are you aware of the FAA's opinion on the twin status of the Cri-Cri?

There are some interesting 25 hp engines available if the prop clearance issue could be resolved without making the plane downright ugly looking.  Weight wise it might even be lighter because you wouldn't need the engine pylons.

Do your home work, your wrong and its perfect just the way it is. Besides you would not have the prop clearance for a single engine. The cri was designed at the same time as the ultralight movement was getting going in the 7os, the quickie, and a host of others. All of which used 20 to 35 hp engines which were and still are plentiful.

Why does the Cri-Cri need to have two props if you have only one engine?  It is my understanding that the original was designed with the engines because there were no 25 HP engines available so he used two 12 HP.

A single engine in the nose would be much simpler.

I'm in australia so I don't know if this helps, but to my understanding you can have only one engine. Does it say how many propellers? What if you had a single engine in the nose and chain driven pulleys to two props. Sounds outlandish but possible.

Hi everyone. I am offering genuine Cri-Cri plans with manuals. This is a
complete package as I purchased from Mr. Colomban himself. I have just been
thrown into a divorce, so I need to sell these plans.

Email me at bikepainter@... I'm asking Ł350.

Regards,
Jonathan

THE CURE FOR THE SWINE FLU!

Nasal B12, which I have used for the Flu, and Even the common cold, which actually destroys the viruses on contact, but it seems that the Center for Disease Control Refuses to do research on it, or give grants to do research on it. I have contacted Merck 3 different times, and they said they don't have time to do the research, so how many more children and people will die.  Seems this is the same Flu that killed so many people, over 2 million or more from 1918-1920 I wouldn't double also that Nasal B-12 could also be used for a NASAL VACCINE. B-12 is a over the counter Vitamin, maybe that is why the Drug companies don't want it, or the CDC, or the HWO,but have you ever heard where the CDC or HWO ever recommended a over the counter drug?

INSTRUCTIONS: Nasal B-12 (Pneumocobal) for Flu & Colds

I  recommend Puritan's Pride product No. 1471, B-12 5000mcg Sublingual as that is the product I have always used, and is stable.
 order 1-800-645-1030
www.puritan. com and at search, put in 1471.

1. Use only a 1oz  dropper bottle with dropper(Not a spray  bottle) Amazon.com
2. Breakup 8 tablets in two and drop into bottle.
3. Fill bottle 1/2 full of water.
4. Shake hard until all of the tablets dissolve.
5. Store in Refrigerator.

TO USE
1. Shake hard making sure no residue is in bottom of bottle.
2. Fill dropper 1/2 full and put in each nostril.
3. SNORT BACK FLUID INTO NOSE.
4. Return bottle to Refrigerator.

STOMACH FLU. If it hits the Stomach! This can create a nasty cramp! I know, for when it hit me!
1. Chew 4 or 5 B-12 5000mcg tablets
2. Chew 2 or 3 anti-acid tablets
This should clear the Flu out of the stomach, within the hour.
Basically the only side effects, is it could increase your appetite a little. But also increase oxygen to your lungs and brain. I find you only really need to take the nasal B-12 once. I find also it will protect you from any other viruses floating around for the rest of the year, or longer!

How nasal B-12 works, it destroys the viruses on Contact, therefore curing the diseases. All Viruses are Basically ACID, B-12 has mainly Cobalt in it,4.3%. Acids attack Heavy metals. Therefore they  synthesize each other, at the same time Bio-Electricity is created, which I find destroys the rest of the viruses.

If you look at your Car Battery, what creates the electricity is the Sulfuric acid attacking the lead plates. Which really is no difference that what the Virus does to the B-12.

If you have any questions, that is not covered in this forum, then please E-mail me at jdlaughead@gmail. com and or 802 287 2091 I will gladly help you if I can.  I am a retired Safety Director and am only interested in your welfare, as a fellow Human Being.  For more information go to      www.popsci.com/ node/22953  You may make copies to help out your friends!
