This is a discussion group for actors, directors, stage managers, designers, producers, playwrights, and arts administrators in the Washington DC community.

Please join us to share information, discuss craft, plug shamelessly, and dish about the Helen Hayes Awards! "On-topic" messages include anything that the theatre artist (or theatregoer) in the Washington DC metro area might be interested in.

All opinions are welcome, but flamers (those who confuse opinions with personal attacks on list members) and spammers (those who pollute our mailboxes with offtopic web sites or junk mail) will be removed from the list. Most of the posts here are informational in nature, but we encourage discussion as well, so don't be afraid to express your opinions or ask questions (so long as they're related to theatre in Washington DC). Before posting, please review the list policies in their entirety; they can be found in the "Files" section of this site (see the menu bar to the left). Hint: By far, the most common violation of list policies is the failure to reference payment when seeking actors, crew members or staff. Posts that do not conform fully to our policies will be deleted.
