A group for moms in the DC area who are balancing being home with kids and building a psychotherapy practice at the same time.

DCTherapistmoms was created by Jen Kogan in November 2008 to provide a space for psychotherapists and who are also mothers (and some fathers) to connect, discuss, and learn from each other as we balance building a private practice with raising our families.

DCTM Membership offers:

A community of therapists who are balancing being a therapist with being a parent

Two formal social gatherings each year (fall and spring) held at a member's home

A searchable database where you can input your practice information so other members can learn about what you do

CEU classes taught by fellow DCTM members

Occasional informal gatherings about town

Mentor program for members new to private practice or returning to work after being home
