There have recently been inquiries on the state of Ethiostudy. As noted on the ESAi website (http://www.esai.org/programs/ethiostudy/

It also provides a platform where non-Ethiopians can explore the history and culture of Ethiopia. I am writing this message to see if anyone has any information on the status of Ethiostudy and/or if there are any interests in reinstating it.

The Catholic Medical Mission Board (CMMB) has been sending licensed medical volunteers for one year or longer to developing countries around the world for nearly 100 years. The program also places public health and non-medical professionals for one year or longer to address broader health needs within communities to strengthen health systems, with an increasing emphasis on
sustainability and impact.
Each year, the Medical Volunteer Program (MVP) sends approximately 20 to 25 volunteers to overseas assignments in countries where CMMB has an established office, and programs, or to a facility that has a relationship with CMMB. To be considered for the MVP, individuals should be US or Canadian citizens who are at least 21 years old. Medical professionals should have US or Canadian licensure in good standing. The MVP provides the following benefits to volunteers:
- Airfare to and from the host country
- A monthly stipend (generally $350 a month)
