change the pattern into civil services examination pattern. After a common

IIT-Bombay will go with new entrance format

The new test for admission to the IITs has received the stamp of approval from
IIT-Bombay senate, but with a rider. In a special senate meeting , members
approved the implementation of the compromise formula for admission to the IITs
from 2013, but recommended that instead of 1.5 lakh students, JEE Main should be
used to screen 50,000 students for JEE Advanced.
