Discussing the history and origins of the Hebrew tribe. And who has lineage to them today. Especially which Jews?

Should having a Jewish mother give one automatic status to the state of Israel? And doesn't the US' unquestioning support of this state violate the non existent clause that seperate's Church and State that used to bar prayer in school, which many of these Jews support?

If not, is it all a case of racial supremacy, that gives ones status to this totally US maintained state. Since this criteria is based on lineage and not religeous beliefs of one, even a Jewish convert, or uncirmsized Jew.
