A list for Tampa Bay area liberal/progressive homeschoolers who want their children to have a natural childhood and seek healthy alternatives in play and in life. This is a community group, and we meet regularly in an attempt to offer both ourselves and our children a healthy social environment. Those interested in this list would most likely be limiting media in their childrens' lives, avoiding excessive commercialization, concerned with eating healthy foods, and creating an environment for their children rich in imagination and creativity. We are a group with wide-ranging lifestyles and belief systems, and do not homeschool for religious reasons. We welcome people with children of all ages. Those who join this list are asked to be respectful of eachother and of our various lifestyle choices.
