Inland Empire Area Homelearners (IEAH) provides members with an enjoyable social opportunity, homeschooling information, support and resources! We meet for park day every Wednesday unless it's really wet or really cold. We enjoy keeping each other informed of fun, educational area events and homeschool news.
IEAH welcomes all faiths, beliefs, and all styles of homeschooling. We welcome all ages, from birth through college! We have many seasoned homeschooler parents who are an amazing source of wisdom, families who are brand new to homeschooling and every stage in-between. We especially welcome parents of babies, tots and preschoolers who are just beginning their parenting journey.
During most of the year (October through June), we meet at Beryl Park West, just north of the 210 freeway, at 6501 Carnelian Ave, Rancho Cucamonga. Here's a link: http://www.rcpark.com/parks/beryl.htm
During the hottest months of summer (July, August and September), we meet at shady Sierra Vista Park in Upland (15th St at 2nd Ave). Here's a link to a map for our summer location: http://tinyurl.com/6devln
Families begin arriving at the park around 1pm on Wednesdays and stay for the entire afternoon. If you are not able to come early, no worries! Park Day always goes on for the entire afternoon, stay for as long as you like, or just drop by for a little while! Please join us on any park Day!
Most parents like to bring chairs or blankets to sit on. Please bring a picnic lunch or snacks and water for your family so that you can stay a while and be comfortable! In the cooler months, bring extra layers so that you can stay warm.
IEAH does not promote any one spiritual belief, non-belief, or any one homeschooling style.
Please remember this is an inclusive and diverse support group. No spamming or slamming allowed. Our email list is also not a forum for messages of a political or religious nature.
We hope to see you at Park Day on Wednesday!
