This is the mailing list for the Jewish High Tech Community (JHTC), based in Silicon Valley. We meet on the second Tuesday night of every month in downtown Mountain View. Please check our website for details of the upcoming events.

Please sign up for this group if you want to be notified of events, help plan them and just stay in touch with the other members.

The JHTC mailing list is to be used ONLY for JHTC business and announcing partner organization events. Acceptable Posts include: • JHTC-related • Approved JHTC partner events and announcements • News related to topics relevant to JHTC, including Israel, start-ups, and technology • Sponsors can post once a quarter as a benefit of their membership • Other announcements approved by JHTC Board Unacceptable posts include: • Political or religious topics • Announcements from non-partner organizations (non-profits, commercial, governmental) without board approval The JHTC board reserves the right to remove all posts, at any time, for any reason.

• When people sign up for the list they do so that they can be informed of JHTC meetings and other group business, which has always included job-related networking.
• JHTC partners with other similar groups to build awareness of our organization, extend the reach of our messages, bring relevant events to the attention of our members and help us learn and grow.
• Most people hate any excess mails received and keeping our focus precise preserves the value of our brand (that is, people will actually read the messages).
• Exceptions made for one sets a precedent and then we must do do it for many.
