Anyone who is an old or new Jane Austen fan is welcome to join. As an author, Austen is constantly being rediscovered and everyone could use a new introduction to her. Her fame has spread in recent years due to movie adaptations of her novels and those are always open for discussions. Any age, as long as they are mature, are free to enjoy the list. We discuss both major and minor works plus any other topics (such as Regency money or clothes). The list is very relaxed and you may post both personal and critical analysis. Everything is democratic.
