This group is for anyone with a connection to or interest in the town of Keidan, Lithuania. For nearly 500 years, Keidan - now called Kedainiai - was home to a proud and vibrant Jewish community. The descendents of that community now live around the world, but we remain proud Keidaners at heart.

Anybody related to Mordechai Joffe--maybe HaCohane? My great, great grandfather was Arya Leib ben Mordechai Joffe, died 1904, buried in plot J-32 at the Keidan cemetery. His daughter's tombstone indicates that Posted - Wed May 8, 2013 3:00 am	Harriet Sugar-Miller hsugarmill@... Send Email
