The city council is attempting to establish some noise restrictions
for neighborhoods. At the last council meeting there was much debate
between council members and chairman of the noise abatement committee
concerning the standards set. Why would the council even think of
grant a pub on thames street, at the corner of waite's wharf a permit
to have outside entertainment licence? This would open a pandoras
box with 3 bar on waite's wharf. I know it won't stop there. We
have to put positive controls of our town or we will never be
anything but a party town. Let your council persons know your
against this totally negative concept.
