Rumors, oh we get rumors . . . . . . . .

The latest rumor is that a certain member of the School Committee is
considering resignation. Before we cheer or boo, we need to know
the following:

If you were on the Council, would you automatically take the 8th place finisher
or would you go outside as is your right under the Charter? I can't imagine any
of the Councillors tipping their hands in public, and some, you know who you
are, wouldn't even tell me in private. For these reasons, I figured I'd ask the
group.
