Greetings--
The Memorial Day events were inspiring--I watched the concert from D C and felt proud to be an American.
I just glanced out my window and observed that the Waites Wharf niteclub has reopened for the season. Last year, if you recall, I complained that the U S flag was not lighted overnight, as loyal citizens feel is appropriate. 
The night is not over, but now, early in the evening the flag is not lighted up. (Flags of other nations are flying, too.)
I'll observe overnight to see if Old Glory is spot-lighted; stay tuned.
