As a dog owner I'd like to commend the city for finding a place for the
pooches to do their thing. It was a priority for the council and it finally came
to fruition...good job!!

Now...that being said, maybe the city fathers could make it a priority to find
places to put public restrooms for the multitudes of two legged individuals to
do their thing, a place for mothers to change a diaper etc....

It makes absolutely no sense that these people who spend millions of dollars in
Newport can't find a place to relieve themselves without a hassle. I'm all for
the dogs...but it seems the priority should be reversed!! Maybe we could take
the money from the meals and room tax and put it towards public
restrooms...maybe we could call it a Potty Tax!!!
