L.I.F.T. U.P. (Long Island Family Teachers United in Prayer) Online is an offshoot of a homeschooling group that was started on Long Island (NY) in 1987. It is open to all homeschoolers, regardless of their faith, geographic location, mode of homeschooling, etc., but is geared towards those who profess faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord. Feel free to post on any subject related to homeschooling here. We also hold monthly support group meetings in our chat room on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 8 PM Eastern Standard Time and are planning weekly morning prayer meetings, and monthly chats for the dads, teens, and children as well.
