We are a grassroots group of concerned La Crosse, Wisconsin, citizens who support Democrat Howard Dean for President in 2004. We believe that former Vermont Governor Howard Dean is the most progressive, forward-thinking candidate in the field for the upcoming presidential election because he offers a long-term, visionary approach to our nation's current challenges. The only candidate in the race who has balanced a budget, as well as the only doctor, Dean articulates a clear vision, proposing universal healthcare, wide-spread access to quality education, and a cleaner environment, all while maintaining fiscal responsibility. A refreshing alternative to the current administration, as well as to the Democratic candidates who are afraid to distinguish themselves from the Republicans, Dean demonstrates the courage and political independence to stand for peace, social justice, and economic opportunities for all Americans.
