Welcome! … This group has been created exclusively for Bartlett families who have ties to Maryland so they can have a central place to contact each other in order to share their personal genealogy and possibly broaden the knowledge within their own family tree.

Our common goal is to assist each other in filling the gaps in the overall Bartlett family genealogy, make a possible connection with unknown relatives, and create a better understanding of how our ancestors first settled in Maryland in addition to their migration both in and out of our state.

Also for those who are interested, we have members who can discuss how you can trace your genealogy through the fairly new technology of DNA testing and inform you of websites where you can either be tested or share your results with other Bartlett members to see if you can be related. This is not a commercial site so no DNA testing promotions will be solicited. DNA testing is only mentioned here because some of the members have already had it performed and would like to find other Bartletts who match their DNA as well.
