SEA Migrant Refugee Network (SEAMReN) - A group for individuals, organisations, groups, and human rights defenders concerned with the human rights and worker rights of migrants in Malaysia and South East Asia. Being a global community of people, it also looks at Asia and the whole world.

A discussion forum that focuses on current activities,developments and issues in the area migrants, refugees and asylum seekers. Malaysia has about 2 million documented migrants, and an estimated 5 million undocumented migrants coming from ASEAN member states (Indonesia, Burma, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos) and also India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Pakistan.

Would also be looking at the interactions between local and migrant populations. The use of migrants by the state and big companies in an effort to keep wages down and working conditions poor....and many many other issues of rights justice and peace.
