Mayan Families Connection (MFC) is a Yahoo Group of people interested in helping Mayan Families make small miracles happen in the lives of very poor people in Guatemala.

Mayan Families is a small non-profit group living and working in the Lake Atitlan region in the Highlands of Guatemala. They operate a variety of programs giving a hand up to needy Maya people and the communities in which they live. The work of Mayan Families is supported completely through donations, which are tax deductible in the U.S.

This group was started so people can share ideas about how we can help Mayan Families help those in need, share stories about the families and students we are helping, and learn how to ship or bring donations and supplies to Guatemala.

We can collect donations, fundraise, and make family, friends and church groups aware of the needs of the very poor families who desperately need help.

By discussing ideas and working together we can make such a difference to those who have nothing. People who have visited can share what they have learned about the Mayan Families Programs with those who would like to know more.
