2013 NOTICE: USFWS Policies still have not changed. Don't drive above the grass line and wear at least some kind of minimal swimwear and you will be ok.
This is the online information source for naturist supporters of McFaddin Beach near High Island, Texas (about 50 miles from Houston). Check the files section for maps and directions. McFaddin is not a legally approved clothing optional beach, so many people from Texas and Louisiana enjoy their weekends here wearing as little as the law allows.
Speaking of the law, this beach is adjacent to a federal wildlife preserve and is patrolled by US Fish and Wildlife. The game wardens have a history of being unfriendly and confrontational and they will give you a ticket without warning if they see you completely uncovered. So, if you plan on "getting some sun", keep an eye out for them. For folks with FRS/GMRS radios, tune to channel 15 for beach communications and warden alerts.
As for this forum, we are all non-pervert adults here and have free discussions of beach activities and naturism. Yes, the subject matter in this group concerns naturism and beach topics, not swinging or public fornication. A few sanity filters: Spammers will be banned. If you never have any intention of visiting our beach, don't join. If you are under 18, don't join. If you are just here to try to get naughty pics, don't join (there aren't any). If you are a positive, outgoing and fun person that loves naturism and visiting McFaddin Beach, be welcome! Also, please feel free to share photos. Due to Yahoo censorship, please put your unclothed photos on a photo sharing site or personal web page and post the link in the Links section of the group.
