As is requested when you join this group, I'll introduce myself. My name is Charlie, I hail from the great state of Texas, and I like to model ships. My only complete ship thus far is Trumpeter's 1/350 USS Hornet CV-8, and I'm going to follow it up with Tamiya's 1/350 USS Missouri BB-63, and probably a few 1/700 USN Essex-class carriers. My favorites are a) WWII USN Carriers, b) any ship associated with the Battle of Midway, and c) any ship that I've set foot on ;-). In addition, I like to model aircraft in 1/72 and 1/48.

Now, does anyone have a suggestion for a USN WWII Carrier in 1/700, I'll be shopping for one tomorrow :).
