Hi All!
I'm a complete novice when it comes to airbrushes. . .never used
one, have never even held one in my hand. So I'm a complete "babe
in the woods" when it comes to picking one out at my local hobby
shop. HELP!
After doing quite a bit of research on the internet, it's no
surprise to me that I'm finding as many different airbrush
recommendations as there are people to do the recommending. However,
if there is any concensus emerging from all my reading, it would
have to be the Badger 150. This seems to be the make /model that
I've seen suggested the most times as great for plastic model makers.
I'm curious whether in the group has used / does use the Badger
150?? If so, I'd greatly appreciate hearing your opinion(s) on how
esy or difficult it is to learn to use. Is it reasonably easy to
disassemble? To clean? To troubleshoot? To learn to produce really
good results with in a relatively short amount of time - in other
words, not too steep a learning curve?
Sorry for the flurry of questions, but as mentioned before, I'm a
complete novice with these things. Considering the price tags
involved - not only of the brush and compressor - but of the models
I could ruin if I make a bad buying decision, I really want to make
a good choice the first time around.
Many thanks!
