thanks herb for your input. i don't know about mixing plastic and
wood, but i may give it a try. do you know any place to get any wood
plans? all i've ever seen were for real ship building and thy were a
little complicated to say the least. most of the hobby stores areond
here carry some plastic modles, but mostly they are into the R.C.
stuff.
