Hi gang, Ive just joined up. I have modeled alot of ships in my
youth, and for the last 20 yrs have been a model railroader (no
boos). My interests lie in waterfront scenes so ships are included.

However, the main reason I joined the group is because I want to
build a model of the "Titanic" for my daughter. She loves big ocean
liners, we live near the "Queen Mary" and she is always visiting it.
She is a Titanic buff, she has bought artifacts off of Ebay etc.

I did a little research online, it appears that Minicraft and
Academy Models have kits for the Titanic. Can anyone recommend these
or even something else? Can anyone steer me to an article on
possibly lighting the interior, so lights shine thru the portholes
at night etc? I guess you could use fiber optics or? Thanks for any
and all answers, Jeff.

I use auto body filler (bondo) to fill the cracks for the plank on frame hull. Works great, does not shrink or crack and sands easily. This is the second plank...
