For the American Civil War modelers:
I am searching for a deck plan or general arrangement
that shows what the USS KEARSARGE looked like around
the time of her engagement with the ALABAMA.
Most of the information out there shows her appearance
during the 1880s. I have found some good images taken
around 1864 showing various groups of her crew and
taken in various parts of the ship but I am not clear
on some details. Based on the reading I have done,
lot of the commercially available plans and kits out
there is incorrect for this period.
One other question: 2 or 4 bladed screw ? I am
thinking 4.
I have a model in progress.
Regards
Kimble Hill
