Thank you for your good wishes, Stan. I appreciate it very much. after a week at home recovering, it is sort of interesting to learn how to do everything all over again. Even the most simple things I do take longer, as I have to think every move out before I make any for now. A trip out of my chair to visit the bathroom and get some coffee can become a great adventure.
Definitely keep working on the Dorchester. As you do it and when it is done, take many voyages on it in your imagination. Sooner or later I will dig out one of my "Maines" or maybe a tiny model of the "Texas" from that same era. Along with any number of toy versions for my fairs.
I really appreciate all of you very
much.

I too wish to express my best wishes.
I had a Heart attack and quad bypass 10 years ago when I was 38.
I now have 100% blockage on one of the bypasses, and get winded
very easily. If y'all feel the need to talk about the heart issues
I can be reached on or off line. (Brewers@... off line)
I think my model of the USAT Dorchester is what keeps me going.
It's that one thing I "must" complete before the end. Maybe I should drag it out. : )
