I attempted a few years back to paint a plastic model ship. Being
inexperienced, I bought some acrylic paints and brushed the paint
directly onto the model. I was unable to achieve an even coating.

Would someone be so kind as to give me some suggestions on how to get a
really even, professional coating on such a surface. The boat had the
simulated wood planking. But I also had difficulty on some of the
smooth surfaces.

Thanks...

JB
