The Philadelphia Ship Model Society (PSMS) invites RC ship modelers
to participate in its 2007 regatta. Categories are: on-the-water conning
and static models. The conning course will feature Nantucket Island, Skull
Island from the first King Kong movie, Atlantis before it sunk into the sea,
a WWII airfield, and Pennsylvania's infamous Three-Mile Island (complete
with nuclear reactors). The course will include navigational hazards and
challenges that will delight (or horrify) the most jaded RC ship model
skipper, such as: icebergs (to be avoided), minefields (ditto), canals, and
shipping lanes. Models may be entered in either the conning or static
category, or both; but all models must be full RC equipped. The following
trophies will be awarded.
