A little bit of quick research on the internet turned up the following:
Google found an expired listing on Craigslist - Boston/Camp/Brook - Collectibles - Nautical - Ship Models:
PPMYC "Peggy" ca.1910, $2,100.00. V. large, Measures...
Yahoo found two expired ebay-Canada listings for:
OLD-PLANK-ON-FRAME-MODEL-SLOOP-PEGGY-PPMYC
If you then Google "sloop"+"peggy" a whole list of items turn up showing that she was apparently a privateer in the mid-1700's, probably during the French and Indian War (aka "The Seven Years' War" in Europe, I believe)
so, lots of info on the sloop itself, but nothing ship model related on PPMYC. Considering the fact that the model is listed as "ca.1910" I'm not to surprised that nothing turns up. Personally, I'm not even sure that PPMYC is a modeling club. It may well have been a yacht club where the model had been displayed.
I'm going to continue searching and I'll report any new findings.
